I'm curious about their decision to preempt it next week. Do they think we'll tune in for DH, realize that it's not on, and just stick around for the music awards?

Tonite on my local ABC affiliate, they sent one of their weather girls, not to be confused with the Weather Girls, to the sent of Desperate Housewives. And the cast is hilarious.

Mrs. S got hit by Bree's son when she ran out of the house after catching Gaby and the gardener in the act.
She had a picture and John chased her out of the house. Bree's son was drunk and he ran over her. Then he drove off.
Gaby took the camera of course.
Now Bree and her husband are trying to cover it up.
Plus that one guy whose wife killed herself has hired someone to kill the person who sent the note to his wife.
They think Edie did it, but I don't think it was her.

There is an entertainment of the year poll at ew.com two DH actresses are nominated, as well as Matthew Fox of LOST, he's up for entertainer and tv actor of the year. You can access the site if you have aol or if you happened to buy this week's issue, then you could type in the access code [thankyou] and vote away!!!
There is also an all about Desperate Housewives feature.

Desperate Housewives start for me in 20 minutes because of the Sunday Night Football game. NFL rules dictate that if a team is playing on Sunday Night, a local affaliate who carries NFL football must show it. So ABC in Philly is showing the show before the game, so I won't miss anything.

Lucky you. They did that here a few weeks ago, but they showed the episode after the game.

Well, I finally got to see the first two episodes - the first one on a rerun, and the second one the day after.
I couldn't fully concentrate on it however, as I was talking to people on IM at the same time! lol
But from what I saw, I liked it. Nicely dark!
;D

I know exactly what you mean. I'm usually IMing people during the show so I'm not paying as much attention as I could.
Cool, glad you like the show. I wasn't sure I'd like it, figured it would be too girlie, but I really enjoy the show.
I'm so glad tj suggested we watch it. ;D
