It airs tonight on STARZ at 5:40 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 4:40 a.m., Monday, Dec. 18 at 2:50 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23 at 5:50 a.m. and Thursday, Dec. 28 at 9:45 a.m.. Jim and I are in the scene in Pope's Cafe' where they discuss the purse for Sondra Locke. (We're the old demon couple right behind the girls. Jim is just a balding head facing the camera and a Madras plaid shirt and I look like Lorne's Mom after a hard day.) I think we all did well considering it was excrutiatingly hot and humid during filming.

Sadly I don't get Starz. What's the name of the movie? It should eventually be available to rent so then I can watch your film debut.
That's so very cool.

I think Spotlight films will issue a DVD in March. Our producer is really glad that Miramax bought the North American rights to 'Our Very Own.' Being on the Disney owned channels and cable in general will give us a lot more exposure than two or three days in a few specialty theatres. This is a little indie-not a Peter Jackson epic. The amazing cast and coming-of-age storyline ought to make it a sleeper for those who like giving their brains 'comfort food' instead of a steady diet of raunch, mayhem ,nihilism ,special effects and romance. (Even the most devoted fans of rich and spicy fare like to cleanse their palates with something simpler now and then.) www.ourveryownmovie.com

Are you in the cast in that page?
Either way, congrats! I'll keep an eye out for the movie if it ever comes here.

No,but I get a thank you in the credits. I think that was for letting the folks filming on the roof of the Gunter Building come in through our fourth floor window to use the bathroom. We'd have let them enter our apartment through the door, too. Anyhoo,we were closer than the facilities officially provided. I'm not sure which is closer in terms of six degrees of separation: sharing a scene (me and Phantom Dennis' Mom,Beth Grant, sharing a makeup mirror (me and Mary Badham,Dale Dickey and Faith Prince),sharing an apartment building (all the girls but Amy Landers and all the boys),sharing a lunch table (me,Keith Carradine and his fiancee') or sharing a bathroom (me,all the kids,Allison Janney's husband and all the crew.) I don't think Leonard Martin,Roger Ebert, etc. will ever know my name but I'm sure some Emmy and Oscar winners will be able to say I provided them with towels and lip gloss and I'll brag that they carried in my groceries. Look for international distribution under 'Spotlight'.
