A new venue (and indeed, time period) style thing is upon us!
If anyone wants to write a suitably groovy into, be my guest.

Good day, peeps.
I have just watched up through "As You Were" in Buffy Season 6, and I can't believe how much better Season 6 was than I remembered it. And that's strange because Season 6 was the second best season in my opinion before we started the Megathon. And I was dreading watching "Dead Things" before I watched, but damn, that maybe one of the best episodes of the series. I may have to write a review of it in the coming weeks. That episode got my allergies acting.

Thats cool Kev! I'm dying over how funny Spike is in A5. "Daddy, eh? I always thought Wesley was grown in some sort of greenhouse for dandies." "I'm finished here, too. If you want, I can have someone type up the report about head boy."

Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh... I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to—

I'm just back from a job interview downtown. I think it went well.
I was thinking about going in to work for a few hours, but I really didn't wanna.
I only have one pair of really nice shoes so I wore them today. Big mistake. They were just killing my feet. Pinchen der tozen und maken der footsies sprechen "ouchie!"
I got off the train and I seriously considered walking to my car in my stockings. I knew I'd end up stepping on something though. I was pretty much keeping up a mantra of "left, right, left right" until I got to my car.
I was also listing the reasons why I didn't want to go to work. Then I stepped on a $5 bill. I took this as a sign and went home. ;D

That's great Auntie!
.
There is a poster at N/T forum, alex20020712, he's a real dandy. I've never seen anybody respond to nearly every sentence a person writes, with an argumentative response. I'm thinking he might be a MOD's alias. I just cant believe anyone is THAT die-hard about the rules at tv.com.

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, sirs and sirrahs, nobles and low-borns to Medieval London. I will be your host today.
I trust you have seen our jousting area, where you can test your mettles. And there's a Torture Chamber for some of our more .... less delicate .... members to enjoy themself.
And the Geek Throne has been transported here by the magic (what else), will also serve as a knighting throne, for anyone who proves himself in a Tourney.
Oh, and since we don't have any electricity here, our Kareoke is basically a willow staff stuck into the ground.
Enjoy.

We must hug him into submission.
Something along the lines of what we did to poor Fake wouldn't work. He'd just have the thread shut down.
But once the season starts, we're talking New York traffic. Especially if our editor is on our side (I so wish dhomp was here -- she seems cool) then alex becomes the wild-eyed street prophet.
And about as generally convincing.
My suggestion is this. Not to address him, but to carry on whatever conversation we want in whatever thread we want.
They can delete all the posts they want as being off-topicl, but if we occasionally mention the show, they can't delete all of them, and whatever mod alex has doing his bidding is going to get sick of his crying "Wolf!"
alex's profile is private so while he could be an editor, it's unlikely that he's a mod, because mods need to be accessible.
Whatever he is, he's a flake and there could certainly be less of him.
