This place is my little rubber room. You can look at me through the window, and even talk to me. But mostly this place will be reserved as a place to vent and do my own thing. I reserve the right to delete posts here for my own wacky reasons. But do not take it personal, as it is a rubber room after all and some things just bounce right out.
I need to be creative and goofy in front of others but I don't have the time to do it for real, so this is my therapeutic alternative... so enjoy!!

I watched "the house always wins" with the commentary and I just felt for Andy a little bit. I laughed with him because his laughter seemed excessive in a nervous kind of way. I liked that he recovered from the nervousness by tellng jokes and such, but I could really tell he was walking that line of over the top giddiness at being with Joss during the commentary for some reason.
It really makes me feel closer to Andy somehow though, because I have felt like that myself. I skirt the edges of being inappropriate and try to pull it back to humor, but he just does Campy so well.
I'm not going to start singing religious songs at the top of my lungs....a patient was doing that the other day in the "Quiet Room". I tend not to think that's crazy, I tend to just think she's singing the wrong music is all...not crazy.
/me begins to sing "a place called home" over and over...trying to get that folky sound down.

Mostly though, you either want to be in here or you don't. I don't really care.... I just need a place to say what I wanna say about whatever pops into my head.

[applause]That was the best use of that sentence EVER[/applause] Great job Feigy Pants! ;D
Incidently - I love what you've done with the place. My shirt feels right at home in here.
*My shirt says: My imaginary friend thinks you have serious mental problems. I love my dark humor*
Actually a better religious song to sing over and over again at the top of you lungs would be Father Abraham. It's a kids song - which makes it especially fun. And it has hand motion as well.

I often wonder where the line between the need to express yourself creatively is with being totally crackers? Sometimes I think it's one and the same, while other times I think it's the ability to turn it on and off. I mean if you can control when your crazy, that must mean your creative right?
The fact is that it all boils down to how it affects your life. If you balance that line of being really unique with not letting it affect you socially, economically, or in relationships, than you don't have a problem.
This may be why I am leary to watch that show "Monk" I mean, if I were engaging in as many symptoms of OCD as that character is, I would not be functional... I'd totally be 4 hours late to work all the time just doing the whole check and rechecking of his various obsessions.
But I guess it's a good thing I'm not OCD lol. But school and grades sure can put you in that mode if you aren't careful...

I think I like your shirt... but I don't like the suggestions of father abraham.... yes he had many sons, but I draw the line at hand gestures unless they include smacking the stuffing out of the guy who put that ditty together. And while we're add it we can include the untimely torture to the person who came up with "The B I B L E" song.

I was always that kid who made up naughty lyrics to church hyms so my disrespect goes back quite far in regards to church songs.
There was also song that went a bit like this...
deep and wide, deep and wide, there's a fountain flowing deep and wide
That one was a song I could never pass up in sunday school.
I somehow tainted "I've got peace like a river" as well.
Oh don't get me wrong I like to sing some hymns occasionally, but only for technical purposes. I just like my music to be about other stuff.

Yes, I remember all those songs from Sunday school.
Every single one of them.
I hated going to church when I was a kid. My friends and I would try to get away with hiding in the restrooms for as long as humanly possible.
The Father Abraham song always struck me as funny, and it would be really annoying to sing loudly over and over again.
The B I B L E song was just an annoyance in and of itself.
I always hated Jesus Loves Me. Now that was an annoying song.

I watched all the extras on s4 DVDs and am now feeling sad again. Nothing new to see until s5 comes out. I must say however, this time the extras will be worth watching a couple more times. So far once or twice was enough.
I want a movie really badly now. But there is nothing to be done but to waitl.

Oh, you are a God ITL ................. You know, DB was dancing like that in the out takes, and he really looked like he enjoyed himself while doing the crazy dance. I think I will learn his dance and do it every day as a part of my exercise routine lol. I llove to dance, I took balllet for 2 years...it was long enough to learn what I wanted from the experience. I'd really love to get into Salsa dancing but I hear you have to be skinny...and ever since my back freaked me out, I worry about doing too much.....just no flipping or being carried I guess hehe.

I think all this cerebral stimulus is pushing me toward a time of mindless physical activity. Perhaps it's good that school will be done in Dec. for me. I think one more year, and they'd be locking me up.
It's time for action now. It's time to go out into this world rather than reading about it, studying it, and analyzing it from the outside.
Now, if only the ravages of brain and emotional power haven't totally destroyed my physical abilities...
Must get up from from the long years at my desk and push myself onward.
Or, I could just sit here a while and relax until I must.
Man I love my room it's so spungey....good thing it's the rubber room and not padded...the accoustics in here are brilliant.
