They said on NPR this morning that Bush was going to break in on all channels tonight at 9/8c to talk about how he's been perfectly within his rights about tapping hundreds if not thousands of people's phones without warrants.
Everything else is a rerun. Wanna get together here and natter about his performance?

As depressing as that is, I'll be here.

It's about to get a lot more expensive when we get the final bill for this war.

Hi Tim. The president was upset in his address about the wiretaps.
Oh, dammit. Apparently, he's not even going to talk about the wiretaps.
What a gyp.

Yes, and it only cost us half a trillion dollars.

There's more testing and sacrifice and expense before us.
Oh, do tell me about our progress, sir.

Bush is backpedalling on the WMDs like mad.
Oh, it was a belief that he did.
As your president, it was my decision.
What was Saddam going to do with an old tomato?

He said Saddam's ability to hurt anyone has been destroyed forever. That's not entirely true. He could still bite someone.
Bush has a vision of terror in Iraq that sounds a little like what's been happening with the Intelligent Design debate in the South.

Bush is completely skirting around all the issues.
What does 9/11 have to do with Iraq?

This is an important question and I will easily refuse to answer it. With resolute disdain.
His body language keeps saying "C'mon! What's the big deal?"
He says we're going to end terrorism. Somehow, I doubt that.
Of course, he may be listening in, so I'd better say I agree.
