Well, I tend to forget my dreams very quickly - all I can usually remember is that they are very, very surreal - I know dreams tend to be non-linear, but mine would make a Dali painting look positively orthadox! lol
And no Angel/Buffy dreams to speak of, I'm afraid.

Dr. Feigy I would love a professional analysis of my Buffy/bus dream. When I woke up from that one I was like what the heck was that?

No Buffy/Angel dreams here either. My dreams tend to be really strange. They vary, I have a huge amount of dreams about being chased. I'm usually hiding from someone or something that wants me dead *I assume anyway, why else would I be running and hiding?*
Occationally I have dreams about the end of the world. Then I'm in the middle of some kind of war which seems to involve hiding out a lot.
I sometimes have dreams about tornado's. I'm not sure why, I'm not particularly concerned about them and I don't think I've ever seen a real one. They are usually really realistic dreams. Haven't had one in awhile though.
I have quite a few dreams about the house I used to live in when I lived in ILL. It was a huge blue farmhouse that was haunted. I once had a nightmare about the house that scared me so badly I couldn't go back to sleep. I'm not usually prone to nightmares but this one scared me pretty badly. I can't remember what happened though. I just remember there was a set of stairs in the family room (there isn't in real life) that led up to the room with 9 windows (which is the room where some kid allegedly got electricuted before we moved in) and something about that scared me stiff. I ended up pacing the house with all the lights on and carrying my cat, Little s**t (don't you just love his name?) for comfort.
Then there are the back to school dreams. These vary but usually entail me not being able to find something necessary for school. It could be my classes, some clothes to wear. Once I had a dream that I couldn't find a matching pair of shoes.
That reminds me, in some of my I'm being chased dreams I try to phone for help. The problem is the phone is missing numbers that I need to make a phone call.
Then there are the bathroom dreams. These are usually because I really have to use the bathroom in real life but I'm too far gone into dreamland to get up and go. The bathroom (in my dream) is either really, really gross or it's in a very public area where everyone can watch you go (not unlike Xander's dream in Restless.
Given the variety of my dreams I've always found them to be fascinating. It would be cool if someone could interpret our dreams for us

I've had a couple of Buffyverse dreams.
One I mentioned about a year ago on the Buffy boards,(before they were forums/threads).
It was that I was Angel, and I was frightend. I walked in my hallway and saw Spike,(evil Spike), in the living room, and I ran back to the bedroom and saw Buffy lying on my bed in the same position that Jenny Calendar was laid in "Passions", and I heard Spike coming down the hallway, so I hid.
Next it cut to another scene, where I was Buffy and I drove a knife into Angel,(and I could feel the knife as it went into him), and all he did was laugh real evil,(I'm assuming he was Angelus then.
That's my first dream about the Buffyverse.
The second one I'm Buffy, again, and I'm at my house. I'm fighting Darla. I throw holy water in her face, and she growls and jumps towards me. I run backwards, but Angel grabs me, and holds my arms and won't let loose, as Darla is right there in front of me.
You know, if I piece those two dreams in well, it make a nice fanfic read, no?
Next, I've had a dream that I was at the Buffy set, and was working with the cast.
And I've had another one that was a dream about "Chosen". I dreamed two separate times,(before and after I saw the finale), of a strange version of "Chosen". The second time it was going to be on NBC, showing a two hour movie version of "Chosen". It was so frusterating, I couldn't find a blank tape, or a tape that I had taped Season 7 on.
And there's another short dream where I tried to find a blank tape to record some documentary about Angel...or was it about Buffy?...the series.
But those were the only ones. Most of the time I hardly remember what I dreamed about, and those other times it's either sad dreams, crazy dreams, or dreams about the end of the world,(with Biblical stufff included in them).
Dr.F, as long as your analysis isn't too embarassing towards me, then give me an analysis on what you think is meant about what I said.

Looks like you're being given a pretty blanket ( ah, a pretty blanket!) go-ahead for analysis, Dr.Feigypants. * channeling Lorne * So, Joseph, make with the Technicolorâ„¢. What's with the dreamcoats?

Here's a theory you can take it or leave it of course. This dream seems to mean that you are worried about being able to show people a deeper aspect of yourself. Whether it be a literal ability to help and protect others, or being able to show others as well as yourself who you really are. Maybe at the time you dreampt this you were experiencing something that was confronting more than just the side of you that the world sees. Perhaps this dream merely means you have something against tiny vampires, but more than likely you felt hindered by the person you feel you have to be in order to accomplish whatever it is you were attempting at the time. Basically it is the age old fight for being true to yourself without letting others stomp all over it. But since the Freudian perspective is always such a good laugh..... You are sexually frustrated and feel that most prospects are inadequate for you.... (And judging by the lack of ownership of the weapon in question) you may feel inadequate as well. There is this whole idea about the demasculating aspects of the old lady but I don't think I will get into that...As it is surely lame and unimportant. Oh but don't let that last interpretation get you down. Because mostly, I think that dream boils down to the idea that you feel hindered by society and that "their" cluelessness just really gets on your nerves. /me Notes: This is all in good fun. Take what you want and leave the rest.

I have had a lot of dreams about Buffyverse, but like two-thirds of them are about me and Faith in many different positions. However, the one I will be talking about is a wierd one, and not about Faith.
This dream is one in which I was a member of the Scooby Gang, and we were on our way to fight a big bad on the hellmouth in Philadelphia. While we were walking at my college campus, all of the sudden I started to fly for no reason, and I could not control where I was going or I was doing. At one point I was 100 feet in the air, and Willow was yelling at me to get down, but it sounded like she was right next to me. Xander was quiping that I had a superpower and he didnt. All of the sudden that I was falling at a incredible rate of speed, and I splatted onto the ground. But the thing is I got up without any injuries. Giles decided to go to my college library, which had a hidden section that looked like the Sunnydale Library to see what would cause me to fly. As Giles was about to tell me what happened, he turned into my high school math teacher, and started to talk about science. Then Buffy was like thats wierd, and figured it was the first, but then the Scoobies turned into my friends that I have now. And we were teleported to Sunnydale where we had to fight Glory with no superpowers.

Well first of all, I think I'm just going to completely ignore the last part about having dreams about the end of the world etc. As for your dreams... I think there is a simple meaning in them. I believe it would be safe to say that your dreams are simply your unconscious exploring the possibilities of both sides. Okay, I lied, I can't ignore the "end of the world dreams". I think they all fit together in that you are exploring sides of yourself that you may be too afraid, or perhaps unaware of to explore. DISCLAIMER: I am by no means claiming this next part as anything more than speculation on my part. Take it any way you like. You see yourself as a good person who when faced with evil, believes that you would fight completely on the side of what is good and right. However, your dreams are showing you that the reason you are good is because you suck at being evil. More importantly you don't like to be placed in that grey area. You hide from all things ambiguous and cling to what is apparent. The dreams having to do with the missed tapings relate to the anxiety you feel at missing something. If you miss it, than you have to deal with that grey area of not really knowing and this bothers you a bit. Okay, now for the Freudian perspective or the funny part... whichever is appropriate. Your dreams are a huge sign that you would like to explore the more sexual side of your nature. The bad part is, that you have no clue as to how to go about this. You fear the pain that intimate relationships cause, but you are also afraid that you would be the major culperate as well. So, it goes back to the whole avoidance thing. The switching of roles in your dreams indicates that you are open to more than the roles and ideals that you have placed upon yourself. The fact that you ran like a little girl while you were Angel just means you haven't figured out that part of yourself as of yet. Overall, I think those dreams would make some pretty nifty fanfic. Plus, the whole feeling the knife as it stabbed Angel shows you are sensitive to others and don't really like causing other people pain. Awe shucks, I don't know if I managed to be funny at all during that tirade. Sorry bout that. I'll do better next time Bango.

Okay, I think I'll start out with the Freudian / funny. The dream about DB ignoring you. Well, duh, it's a whole rejection scienerio, perhaps induced by your mother or father. Fear not however, I too posted a similar dream and would give the same analysis from a freudian perspective. Mkay, moving on. The dream where you are willow... I suppose some of this hinges on whether you are male or female, but regardless, your dream basically means that despite any power or abilities you may have, your insecurities tell you to get a stronger (perhaps more masculine) figure involved. You may not trust your own abilities to handle certain situations thus having a somewhat codependant personality. Such was the case in your dream with Lorne. (While this may be untrue in real life) Subconsciously you are dependant on others to make things okay. You sometimes confuse other's ability to carry out such noble feats, as deep caring for you. You may often find yourself wanting the dramatic displays of affection to prove that your love for a person, (Perhaps more importantly, their love for you) is real. But these are dreams and we can give in to fancy even if we don't in real life. However, it may be an issue that is needed to be addressed in order to have more stable and realistic relationships with those you care about..... OR NOT. In any case, the dream about Gunn was purely Phalic in nature (from a freudian perspective) The hand, the pencil, the hottness, all of it. Your lack of interaction says you are used to browsing porn pics. LOL Well, I'm spent so I hope I've been entertaining.

First I want to start out by saying that all the dreams I've read so far are fairly healthy, and are indicative of mostly sane and well adjusted people. Having said that....C69... your dreams have a common social phobia theme to them. It seems that you have been traumatized severely in your life and your dreams are merely a manifestation of the fears and insecurities related to those traumas. The good news is, in real life you managed to escape capture. However, in dreams, you worry that your attempts at protecting yourself will not be good enough. I'd say that if you didn't have these dreams you would surely give in to these fears. The dreams you have are very therapeutic and it's perfectly healthy for you to be fascinated by them. I wouldn't however, become overly preoccupied by portent or meaning as you clearly need them in order to not give in to the fears you have experienced. Plus, running.... good exercise and perhaps you should take some time to do it in real life. (Totally not saying you need it. It's just a good stress reliever.)

This one is a bit tricky in the fact that dreams are just dreams after all. However, since some of you wanted dream analysis here it goes. Overall CrazyGolfa, I would personally say that this dream has indulged quite a bit into the ironic side of life. You obviously appreciate irony in your own life. However, in your dream you certainly have nack for being on the crappy side of this beloved irony. So, in short, I think your dream explores the intricacies of events rather than the events themselves. More like a "what would be my luck if I were in these situations.." kind of attitude. The flying in dreams often indicates freedom. And since you went splat, you might be feeling that you have grasped freedom and have experienced it, only to have no control over how you use that freedom. (hence the irony) The part where your friends become the scooby gang, simply means you fancy your relationships in much the same way that the scooby gang is depicted. There may be something more here, but since I do not know anything about your friends, I will only say that each friend holds an aspect of your personality that you value. The trouble begins when YOU (the gang) go to defeat trouble (Glory), you don't know or realize what strengths you have to deal with that trouble. So basically you think of yourself as part of a team but are unsure that going it alone would gleem positive results. /me cue inspirational music Have faith that you carry the many traits you find helpful in others. It's not always necessary to do things alone of course, but when you do...Know that you have the qualities to be strong as an individual as well as with your friends. /me end inspirational music Or.... just focus on the naughty Faith dreams.

Wow! This is my favourite thread ever, I think. ;D I don't have any Buffy/Angel dreams that I can remember but there are some weird dreams I had a long time ago that mainly involved me being eaten by large monsters. I'll recall them in more detail if you want.

Why thanks Mr.N I'm kinda fond of it myself. As long as people don't get too grumpy about my analysis. If after reading my earlier posts about others' dreams you are still considering posting one. Then I'd be glad to give you my interpretation. I guess you got lucky in that you got a preview first or perhaps just smart in keeping your "mouth" shut. haha
