Well tj I guess I won't have the pleasure of torturing you. But by all means keep the dreams coming and feel free to talk to me about my interpretations if you have questions etc.

Dr. Feigy, I just read your analysis of my dream, and I'm really impressed! The first analysis [ not the Freudian one] seems right on target. I do feel like there is a side of me that others are clueless to, and I also have feelings of inadequacy in trying to help family members [mainly my sister and niece] I was certainly going through some heavy personal stuff when I had this dream. And I always found BtVS and AtS to be great escapism from real life stuff that I couldn't deal with. So, when I had the dream, I figured I was just getting too involved in the show for my own good. My older sister helped me get out of the funk I was in which I'm really grateful for, but to this day I still feel like I was so incompetent for having to rely on her. I think you're going to make a gre ;)at mental health counselor, a lot of what you said rang true, but I don't want to bum anyone out with the details. Thank You Dr. Feigy

Hey ReadyToBake, Thanks for the vote of confidence. I've been told I have a nack for this kind of thing. And while I am writing these analyses up as entertainment, I am also really using my knowledge and education as well. The important thing is that you were entertained but it's always a bonus when you actually relate to something. I'm glad you found some insight. You can send me a personal message sometime if you think you might wanna finish your story. Glad you enjoyed it.

*Said in a manner reminiscent of Ted after talking to Freud in Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure Whoa!!
Very spot on analysis. It's like you read my mind or something. Great job!
Dreams have always fascinated me, but I never worried too much about analyzing there meaning. I read a few dream analysis things in passing but they seemed so far out there that it just couldn't be believed.
Your education is definitely working for you
I won't bore anyone with the details of why you are right, but you really are. Thought you'd like to know that.
And you are right, I should take up some form of excercise. I probably wouldn't be having as much back trouble if I was in better shape
*Sorry if I misspelled stuff, very tired right now. I've been up a really long time. We need a spell checker for this forum *

''We need a spell checker for this forum'' I hear you on that one, I'm still not sure if I spelled ''curiosity'' right in the Graveyard thread. I'm curious to know, if dropping the u was the correct thing to do, I can't remember any of those catchy ''Schoolhouse Rock'' jingles. Except for ''Conjunction Junction'' and even that one I only remember one line from. You'd be amazed how much those songs helped me in English class, back when I had a better memory. I have had those embarrassing bathroom dreams so many times, that whenever I have one now, my subconcious yells at me to ''get up and use the bathroom'' lol I also was surprised when you [C69] mentioned the frequent dreams of being chased, I'm always dreaming about some psycho with a high powered rifle coming into a really big place like a mall or workplace, you know like you hear about on the news at least once a year. And I always find these little crawl spaces to hide in but I can hear other people getting shot, those dreams scare the hell out of me.

Hah! We do need a spell check here lol. Wow, I just love it when I'm right about stuff. /me Homer-esque* Woohoo! I am right there with ya on the whole exercise thing. I used to be this really athletic person who ran and swam and did Karate.... Now, I'm a back achin'; sitting around all the time; cerebral type who hardly sees the light of day. haha. Okay it's not that bad but near enough. I invite you C69 to send me a personal message as well if you feel you just want to dish the story with me. Obviously it's up to you. But I'm around So, anyone have any dreams about being a bird? If so, what kind? I had this dream once that I was some kind of black bird. I could have been a crow, not sure. But I had what seemed like a huge wing span. Unfortunately I was flying around one of the military bases I used to live in, and was trying to escape capture or something. There are plenty of themes in just that small bit of info but soon, I will post the dream that got me interested in dream interpretation in the first place. Not to mention some of the ones that are just plain freaky. You'll love it I promise lol.

I may just message you sometime about some of the stuff Feigy Pants.
I used to be more active as well. I loved playing roller hockey (with guys no less, can take a hit with a puck pretty well too-pads, I don't need no sticking pads and when I was a kid my Dad bought us a big park swingset. You know, one of the tall ones you only see in city parks. It really kicked ass Made our yard really popular too. That was when we still lived in the big haunted house, before we moved.
After we moved to the middle of nowhere I used to hike in the woods a lot. I still like to hike, but climbing up big hills kinda stinks. Both my parents are chain smokers so even though I never smoked I have the lungs of a smoker. Which means I can't breath so good when climbing.
Also like the typical kid stuff of ramping bikes, climbing trees, and I used to kick ass at playing hide and seek. We would play it in the woods at night, which in retrospect could possibly be dangerous but it was very fun. No one could find me - which was always fun. Sometimes I would hide in plain sight and watch people looking for me
I also used to do back flips off the swings of our swingset. And we would roller skate down hill and jump ramps on skates. Never could skateboard though.
I still have my roller blades but they are mostly sitting by my bed collecting dust. When I kicked my ex out I didn't have anyone to play hockey with anymore.
I need to start skating again, its fun and good exercise. I had great plans to start exercising again this summer but my back kept going out. Now school's about ready to start up again so I won't have the time.
Alright, I'm done rambling now. Just killing time until my friend Celeste gets off work so we can go out.
I look forward to hearing about your dreams Feigy Pants. Oh, and I've never had a dream about being any animal though I have had dreams I could fly. I've also had dreams where I was someone else but I can't remember any right off the top of my head.
I had a pretty cool dream last night that I was going to write about but I've already forgotten it.
Okay, I'm really done talking now

Well, I'm back. That dream analysis was amazingly accurate Feigy, thanks! (Apart from the porn thing.. ) Now I'm all interested in dream interpretation! Although, even though it seems more obvious now, I never would have guessed what the phallic Gunn one meant. Also, for the Willow one, I am male. And I had another dream, the night after I posted my other dreams, which involved Doyle, but I can't remember it at all. Have I been logged on here the entire time I was away? Oh well.

Gah, I still haven't had any dreams about Buffy or Angel but I did have a dream where I ate some bread rolls that were going to go off. Then I woke and they were still there so I had them for breakfast.

I seem to have another dream involving the Jossverse every night after I post here.
Last night I had a dream about going to see 'Serenity'. But I was late, and nobody enjoyed it but me.

Levitation dreams are very common but really fun, I love those dreams. Mr Nasty, if you want to dream about BtVS OR AtS, you can try the lucid dreaming technique. Your local library probably has books on the subject, that;s where I read one. You think about what you want to dream as you're falling asleep, it takes practice, but apparently when you've reached the point before rem, you're still conscious enough to control your dream subjects. Or so the theory goes. It worked for me a few times.
