Having consumed four seabreezes, Lorne ambles up on the karaoke stage completely pantless. He then does a rousing rendition of It's Not Easy Being Green I'm probably the biggest nerd ever for notocing this, but Lorne said himself he can't get drunk. Alcohol has no affect on him.

Oops. Then again, if you are trying to find logic in anything I post here, you will need to spend a lot of time in the Rubber room.

Without taking anything away from our wonderful meeting with Cynthia, Auntie, greatness stands eternal. Even so, I give you ...
DESPERATE VAMPIRES
Cordelia, Fred, Lorne and Harmony find themselves mystically transported to Wisteria Lane.
Lorne in a screaming yellow bathrobe burns the cookies he's baking for the dinner party at Cordy and Angel's because he's upstairs having sex with the gardener -- Lindsey.
Fred discovers Wes's affair with Lilah and burns her house down.
Lilah is staying with Angel and Cordy, who had a vision of the impending tragedy but warned her anyway. Meanwhile, because Wes has gone to stay at a hotel near the interstate, Lilah keeps trying to get into Angel's pants. Cordy clocks her one with a measuring cup.
Harmony is trying to make a go of it with Spike but they've become very distant. She's resentful at having to give up her high-powered executive assistant job at W&H just because the silly building collapsed. He keeps coming up from their basement clutching at his chest, muttering something about a deep, dark secret buried beneath their swimming pool.
Ilona Cootchie Bianchi keeps peeking into everyone's windows, hoarding up their secrets and causing a world of mischief -- especially by turning up nude in everyone's backyard waving around a blonde wig on a coatrack.
Because Wes has taken off, Fred becomes intrigued by her new neighbor, Gunn, who seems like a nice enough guy except he's secretly investigating every single one of them for the FBI.
Too bad Eve keeps dropping by every time she nearly gets the courage up to ask him out. But she's not a problem for long. She discovers Lindsey's affair with Lorne and shoots herself through the head.

I stand humbled. We so need a "we're not worthy" smiley. Lorne sure gets around in our collective imagination.

I should point out that since I haven't seen either Nip/Tuck or Desperate Housewives I didn't really read either of those stories. See, I plan on seeing them both at some point and I am almost phobically afraid of spoilers. Thus your comic genius is denied me and I must make my earlier comment a qualified best. story. ever.

You simply must see both shows grailwolf.
They have started airing Nip/Tuck from the beginning on Sunday nights at 10 pm central time.
I haven't seen the first season so I'm planning on catching up as well.

We have Netflix, so S'Gypsy & I will be renting the first season of N/T soon. I hear that they're re-running at least some of Desperate Housewives on Saturday, so I'll try to catch up with that too.
When several people whose opinions I respect as much as you guys are all into these shows, there's really no question about it. I will check them out.

When several people whose opinions I respect as much as you guys are all into these shows, there's really no question about it. I will check them out. Your actual additional per-week time commitment is two additional hours of tv viewing on Sunday night -- DH at 9/8C on ABC, and N/T at 10/9c on FX.
Is it worth it? It is, I promise you, absolutely worth it.
You're only two eppies behind on DH if you catch the encore at 9/8c on ABC on Saturday (and they do run a "previously" clip ahead of the opening sequence, and you can catch up anything you might have missed on the forum and the 'Tome site).
And you're only one eppy behind on N/T if you start watching this weekend (the Pilot is damn' good, and you should catch it when you can, but it's entirely watchable without it. They do a "previously" on N/T as well.)
Happy viewing, you two, and welcome!

G'wolf -- just a quick note: Don't go by me for ABC's schedule tomorrow night; that time was a SWAG, and you should absolutely check local listings for the encore. Enjoy!
