You'll have to wait a while if I'm doing it -- I've got my Algonquin submissions ready at the string.

In my defense, over the course of the weekend my Grandmother died and the feller won his lawsuit and got his job back. It's been a little dizzying

That is such extraordinarily good news about the Feller, Py! Drink waiting for you at the 'Tome when it stops being all wonky.

Sorry about your Grandmother PDLM.
And thanks for the earlier invitation to join the upcoming writing group, but truthfully I haven't written anything but essays for almost a year.

Essay's are fabulous. It IS the era of creative non-fiction I've got the list pretty well together, but anytime you want me to add your name, you just let me know

I use to do some creative writing in my senior year of high school. I compiled 10 episodes of a sitcom series and even made up some storylines. I thought they were quite funny and southern through and through. Believe it or not I still have them. They were short but sweet.

Well I came up with a family, dysfunctional of course. The husband who works in a clothes store, a wife who is a couch potato, a daughter who is a slut and light headed, son who is a pervert, and a grandmother who is blunt.
They all live in the south. It is called "It's a Southern Thing". Take into account that I wrote this in high school and did this to blow off tension I had going on at the time since I had no other way.
If yall want me to post some of what I wrote I will.

sounds good.
you could continue it with your new perspective added.
maybe a 'normal' character who's a Christian-only not a hypocrite or a goody good type.
might have possibilities as you know both sides now.

Hmm. those sound like some good ideas for me to reincorporate into it. I will have to look for them. I believe I compiled 10 of them.

You know... We should totally get the BAND back together! Oh... I mean... We should start doing Algonquin things again. I also would love to read Reb's sit-com.

I'll be sure to post the Pilot #1 I wrote sometime today. I'll look through it to make sure nothing is too scary. Remember I wrote these in my senior year in high school in 2003-2004.
