Meh...not to be confused with the Chevy Chase comedy. This is where the people who are going can discuss the trip. Like what hotels they are in, or what time they get into Vegas.

Most excellent idea, Kev... other than the whole stalker issue.... I'll try to hop on tomorrow night and share details.

For those who are going, are ya going to take a pic of all y'all together,so that us lonely left-behinds can see all the smiles we missed.

There are more of you blowing us off. Y'all should have to post pictures of yourselves sitting in your rooms playing with your Puppet Angels.
Oh, wait ...
* lest this be lost on anyone, that was a JOKE, and I do get the expensive thing and the scheduling thing, and that if everyone could be there they would *
It occurs to me that four people are going to make no impact on Las Vegas.
However ...
The great pack of us could make a huge impact on Minneapolis.
Think about it. It's sort of central, and it's sort of social -- demented and sad, but social (I always hear that line in my head when I say that so I thought I'd just post it out loud once) -- and unlike Vegas, Minneapolis is completely affordable and we'd have the world's best tour guide for all of those fun, out-of-the-way karaoke bars and girls-with-guitars coffee shops and live theater and so forth.
I'm open to other venues, but hell, anyone can afford a trip to Minneapolis, and it's actually quite nice in the fall.
Fall of 2006, anyone?

Good idea, but I still wouldn't be able to make it! lol
I can barely afford to go anywhere in the UK, never mind abroad.

tj, I am thinking you are underestimating our ability to make an impact in Vegas, we are all crazy and naughty enough to do so.

If you start building the raft now, you can probably make it across the Atlantic on a barge of hermetically sealed lager empties. Then coast down the St. Lawrence (think of Niagara Falls as an adventure rather than an obstacle) and zip through the Great Lakes. You'll be in Duluth before you know it and after that, the portage to the headwaters at Lake Itasca practically does itself and you'll be floating down the Mississippi River through downtown Minneapolis in a hop, skip and a bump.
Getting back up the Falls on your return trip may be the tricky part, but while you're in Minneapolis, if you balance a spoon on your nose, enough people might give you enough tip money for a plane ticket back.
Hey, just throwing it out there. Your countryman, Phineas Fogg, proved it could be done in his hint-laden travelogue "Around the World in Eighty Days" -- and you wouldn't have that pesky Eric Idle tagging along! ;D

Kev, you must admit that any trip we took, however, naughty, would be even naughtier with Cordy, Auntie and Feigy* in attendance.
Hell, even bitterman would be helpful in sniffing out some of the higher-class naughty.
That's not to say that there won't be perfectly acceptable naughty to be gotten into all on our lonesomes ...
* and Tickie and Nick and q'cat and Bango and Reb and Phoe and ITL and Py (!) and everyone else I forgot. Sorry.

The train ride is a breeze, Auntie.
We'll just have to make a point of doing it when you can get away for the weekend.

I really do like the idea of planning something for next Fall. Given that much time I can pretty much guarantee I could make it work.
Unless you guys get back and find you can't look each other in the eye. Maybe someone stepped on a jellyfish...
(Yes, I know you'd be hard pressed to find jellyfish in the desert.)
