Very interesting idea.
I am in the middle of my wreched fall lineup at school.
And I have no idea what Serenity is about. I saw previews and thought it was a Star Wars sequel. I thought yall said it was western.

What in the world are yall talking about vacationing?
Who is vacationing where?
Is this a Serenity vacation or something?
We've been talking about this for nearly a year now Reb. We started talking about it on the Angel forum at the Tome.
More of us were supposed to go but some of us can't afford it and others can't get out of work.
I really wish I could go. It sucks because I've been saving for this for so very long but things kept coming up that I had to spend money on - like dental bills.

I could have sworn I heard yall say it was a western themed show though. I have never seen it so I am going off what yall say.
I saw a preview on tv and it had like flying aircrafts and stuff like that. I thought it was a Star Wars sequel when I first looked then I saw something else and thought it might be X-men related. Then it said "Serenity" at the end, which is the only way I knew what it was.

It is a Scifi Western, mixing elements of Scifi, with spaceships, and Westerns with guns, preachers, hookers (Companions) and horses.

Being a Joss Whedon fan you simply must go see it.
The SciFi channel is running a Firefly marathon on Tuesday. Tape all the eps and watch them. You'll see it's really very good.
But you should be able to enjoy the movie even if you haven't seen the show.

Tuesday hmmm. Lets see. I would only be able to see afternoon then since my class starts at 5:30pm.
I haven't been able to watch anything on tv or interested in it lately. I'll try to see at least one episode of the actual show.

I think it starts at noon - not sure if that's central or eastern time though - but you won't be disappointed. I'm sure you'll really like it. ;D

I'm glad I have Serenity to look forward to this week. I'm going to try and convince people at work to go see it Friday night. We can all be tired and miserable Saturday morning at work together. ;D

My tv watching time has been limited lately. Only got to see that one episode of David's show Bones and House and that has been about it.

Back to back to back screenings of any movie can make you a bit cranky the next morning.
