This is one of my favourite scenes ever. Dawn feels she can connect with this guy and then you see Buffy show up with the worst news she'll ever get.
And Dawn's reaction through the window is absolutely Earth-Shattering. Just the best thing MT has ever done.

I so hope you guys can join us. Here's the revised list:
Intervention 11/10c Apocolypse Nowish 12/11c Storyteller 1/12c Conversations With Dead People 2/1c The Message 3/2c Heart Of Gold 4/3c Objects In Space 5/4c
I love this scene with Dawn flirting with the boy. So cute.
And the pic she's drawing - very disturbing.
And now for the bad news.
This part is so heartbreaking. It works out so well that we don't actually hear the conversation - we just see her reaction.

I'm skipping a bit but oh well:
One of the saddest parts is the fact that Willow's sweater is right there and she can't seem to find it. I know something so trivial shouldn't seem so important.

This part is so heartbreaking. It works out so well that we don't actually hear the conversation - we just see her reaction. I think the best aspect of this is that Dawn doesn't just have one instant reaction. She's sad, then she's angry then she is just overwhelmed and collapses. It's the length of time that you have to watch her go through these things that really makes the moment.

And now the part with Willow not being able to find an appropriate shirt.
"La la la, I don't care."
I hate to see Aly cry, it always makes me want to cry. She's so heartbreaking when she's crying.
"I can't see Buffy at the morgue and be all royal"
"Why do all of my shirts have to have stupid things on them"
And the kissing, this part disturbed my Dad last Christmas.
He hadn't watched Buffy since season 3 and I had him watch this ep with me when I got the DVD for Christmas.
I didn't even think about the fact that Willow and Tara were together so I hadn't warned him about that.

There's so much of S6 in this one scene I can't get my head around it.

I love the awkwardness of this conversation.
Very realistic. Nobody really knows what to say.
And Xander is so angry. He wants someone to blame.

I love Anya in this scene, she really doesn't fit in and she knows it. Not as a human or as a friend.

I love Willow offering to fight with Xander.
"You know I can't take you."
"Damn straight."
And Tara's reaction shots are great.
I just love Anya's inappropriate reactions.
"But I don't understand!"
Anya's speech gets me everytime.
Now my allergies are really acting up.
