What is up with all you British people coming up with such incredibly worthy programming these days?
They upgraded the tea in Auntie Beeb's canteen? ;D

I've always been fond of British television. We're just getting things sooner now since we have BBC America and the world has gone global on us.
"Life On Mars" does kick @ss. Enzo and I both loved it.

Foolishly, I've been watching it all day. I'm nearly out of episodes. I'll have watched all of it before the 'Thon. I'm loving this show! ;D

I can't believe they left it like that. "I had an accident, and woke up in 1973." That's a terrible accident. Anyway, they've all but demonstrated he's in a coma somewhere (unless the coma voices are the delusion). But even so, it makes for a great story. Favorite exchange from S1: Ann: "Have you gotten over that woke up in the past thing?" Sam: "Yeah, I talked to Dr. Who. He gave me some pills for it." It's cooler than the reviews I was hearing and well worth the dl. Excellent series!

We're getting our own version too.
I'd like for it to be just as terrific but not a clone of the British version.
That way we have twice as many good stories and maybe even crossover potential.

Thanks for the heads up! (garr)
For our version, we need to cast Angie Dickinson and Peter Falk as cameos somehow.

Maybe get Stephen J. Cannell to show up-and Mike Post to do some music.

I've seen the first two episodes, and it's more crunchy goodness.

See, that's what I didn't understand when I did the torrent search. There was one called "S2e01" which was inactive, and one called "S2e02" which was twice the size of what they normally are but which was dated last night. You'd said it started last night so I wonder, reading that, if it had a two-part premiere, or am I just confused (like usual)?

BBC shenannigans. Ep 1 was aired on BBC1, and Ep 2 was aired an hour later on the digital-only BBC4. The large filesize is all down to whoever encoded it and put in up for download. It's not a two-parter. Both episodes are available here: eztvefnet.org/
