It's kind of like ballroom dancing on ice.

Well there's ice....and dancing. What part are you unclear about?

The fact that there's dancing. And ice.
Doesn't it get slippery?
Eh, you just like poking me.

I'm actually not that sure about ice dancing. Ice skating never really apealled to me.
It seemed like the winner was the one who screwed up the least rather than who did the best.
* decides it's fun to poke Nick *

Hey, hey, hey! No poking. Am I flesh? Am I flesh to you? Feed on flesh. My flesh. Nothing else. Not a spark. Oh, fine. Poke then. Solid through.

I enjoy ladies and pairs figure skating the most for obvious reasons, and I just adore Sasha Cohen.

Meh, it's a little lame -- dragging ice cubes around a tabletop by little strings seems extremely limited, although some of the patterns they make are ...
What? What channel are you watching?
Anyway, new computer is here. It's shiny.
The reason it's still taking 10 minutes for all the screens to load is that my darling sister forgot to tell me I need to buy both a new keyboard and a new mouse.
New monitor and CPU are in place and they're chomping at the bit to do something.
Also I need a cable modem because this thing isn't in any way going to put up with dialup. It snorted at me contemptuously.
I like the idea of a gathering, Nick. We could, among other things, nail down this Labor Day TomerBash'06. Gotta get more than four people next time.
We're growing arithmetically. Grail is a Tomer on his own, and he hangs out with singinggypsygrrl all the time anyway. Last Spring they got together with Kev, and then they and Kev picked me up in Vegas.
Now, I'll be running into Py and the Feller in May ...
Maybe we can shoot for a goal of ... hell, maybe eight in Chicago or St. Louis if we all plan ahead well enough.
Might even get more, which would be just ... fun. ;D

Oh, and good night, everyone. Foot pain is getting more than too distracting. I'm going to bed.

NBC...Ladies Figure Skating starts tomorrow, and Sasha Cohen is the favorite, and she reminds me of Summer Glau on skates, Sasha is very limber, just like Summer, just watch her.
mmm...Sasha and Summer.
I'll be in my bunk.

I've had a little thought. Let me know what you guys think about it.
We seem to have split into groups based on when and where we can post. I know I keep bitcaing about this, but I really miss the back and forth we used to get going when everyone was around.
I was thinking we could plan a time when everyone could be online, even if it's just for an hour one night. Nothing we'd have scheduled each week, just a one shot deal. If it works out we could plan other ones maybe once a month or so.
A get together not to watch TV or DVDs, but just to banter like the good old days.
Have I really gone around the geeky bend here? ;D
I just miss everyone. I like the idea but I only have 2 problems.
1. School. I can't exactly take a day off, stupid VCE. I can probably do it in about 4 weeks though. 2. I don't have access to the net on weekends.

Tomer Bash '06 is still a big question mark for me because I don't know where I will be, and what I will be doing at that time.

Well, if we do it over Labor Day weekend, you can plan to be wherever we are.
Oh -- I must've had post amnesia. It was Auntie's idea for the online reunion.
Tell them there'll be punch and pie.
