I saw "Bridget Jones' Diary" (not the sequel, mind) the other day and it was pretty funny stuff.
She kept bumping into that Colin Firth guy all the time, though. That's a whole lot of coincidence, right there.

What do you mean? I bump into Colin Firth all the dang time.
I'm thinking about taking out a restraining order, honestly

Why don't they make movies as funny as you people?

Actually, Colin was just passing through Chicago and had to stop by my palatial one bedroom apartment for dinner. We had frozen dinners and a box of wine. As he was leaving he said that he didn't realize how much fun "slumming" was. What a swell guy.

I'm going to go visit my parents for Thanksgiving. My mom wants to see Finding Neverland while I'm there. That is, if it's playing by them. They live a tad bit out in the sticks, so these things sometimes pass them by.

S'Gypsy & I saw The Incredibles last night. What a great movie! Of course, I have a total weak spot for superheroes anyway, but I think it'd be good for the unenlightened as well. Did you get a chance to see it, spk1903? What did you think?

I wonder if the kids actually played for the movie? They did, I guess you didn't watch many talk shows around the time the movie was in theaters.

They did, I guess you didn't watch many talk shows around the time the movie was in theaters. I generally don't watch talk shows....got nothing against them or anything...just don't get 'round to it. Well, that's pretty cool that they did though

grailwolf- i really enjoyed the movie. it kind of made me laugh at the beginning when mom and dash were talking about not being "special" at school when they teach kids that they are all special.

I just got around to seeing Spiderman 2. As usual, I am probably one of five people who didn't like it. There was way too much screaming going on in the movie. I don't think there is a five minute chunk where someone isn't screaming their head off. I have a little chip on my shoulder about Nikola Tesla, the man who really invented the radio. He was screwed over by Edison and Marconi both. I wanted to bitca slap Dr. Octavius for fawning over Edison and Marconi while ignoring Tesla. Considering the fact that nobody in their right mind would care about that, I'll shut up now.
