Oh. Mal shooting the Operative at Inara's place should absolutely be in there somewhere. I can't believe I left it out.
I love that Brian moment on "Where do we go from here?" I'd love to see the cast actually do that. It'd be funny as hell.
Mal was pretty dark at the beginning of this film. I wonder if Zoe will have gone really dark in the sequel.
Someone couldn't believe that there'd be a Book prequel. But I know it'd be interesting.
And just a point of historical accuracy, but there wasn't much of a crowd in Vegas. Which is a little weird, considering that with the sheer number of people there were in Vegas, the law of averages would dictate that a larger number of them would've been in the theater with us.
I would've liked to see larger crowds both times I saw it, but I'm glad to hear of good turnouts. Maybe the numbers will be better this weekend.

The problem with making a list from this movie is that there were definitely more than 200 great moments in this film.
I forget now, did you have the part in the final fight where the Operative had the sword and Mal had the Screwdriver.
The "Where do we go from here?" moment happened for me in the scene where we have the Funerals.
This whole movie was great from beginning to end.

That was a most excellent list tj. ;D
You did forget the scene with Mal facing the Operative with a screwdriver though. That was so very funny, all five times that I saw it.
Last nights audience reacted nicely to that scene. It's pretty cool to notice how different audiences react to different things. Last night was the first time I really noticed the entire audience gasp when Wash dies. They may have done it the first night but I was in too much shock to notice.
I also really enjoyed the scene were Mal leads the Reavers straight for the Alliance and then the Operative is freaking out and ordering everyone to "shoot something!"
How about when Wash says, "Start with the part where Jayne gets knocked out by a ninety pound girl. 'Cause I don't think that's ever getting old."
There is just so many great moments in this movie. So very many. I love this movie. ;D

I wasn't specific about the sword and the screwdriver (tho that was hilarious), but I did mention the fight between Mal and The Operative, yes. It's like one of my top moments. ;D
* can't wait to hear what Py thought of the BDM *

I just got back from seeing Serenity an hour ago. I loved it, the only problem I had though were River's fight scenes. There wasn't enough of them. I so wish I could fight like her and that scene around the beginning when her brother was asking if she was ok and she replies I swallowed a bug. Good times.

I can't believe I left out Jayne getting shot in the leg. And River's "I swallowed a bug." There were many, many others -- too many for a list.
But lists are fun.

Okay, my allergies just acted up when I posted the spoof in the Tropicana just now.
Does that seem right to you?
I wonder how long it'll be before I'm fine with that phrase, or will it be like that low rats thing?

It seems perfectly right.
I get upset just thinking about Serenity and about Wash.

I think it'll be like the rats thing. It has a habit of making my allergies act up.
